Q: How fast is the time-to-result with the Clearview ULTRA FOB Test?
A: Clearview ULTRA FOB provides results faster than guaiac-based tests. With Clearview ULTRA FOB, positive results are available in 1 minute, and negative results can be read after only 5 minutes. Guaiac-based tests take as long as 6 minutes for both positive and negative results.

Q: Are the results with the Clearview ULTRA FOB Test easy to interpret?
A: Yes. Clearview ULTRA FOB provides visual, qualitative results. The appearance of ANY blue-colored line (no matter how faint) in the test region with a colored line in the control region indicates a positive result. Very little subjective interpretation is required.

Q: The Clearview ULTRA FOB Test is an immunoassay, or an immunochemical test. How does this type of test compare with traditional guaiac paper tests?
A: The American Cancer Society recognizes immunochemical tests, such as Clearview ULTRA FOB, as being more patient-friendly and offering equivalent or superior sensitivity and specificity than guaiac-based tests.1

Q: I'm concerned about patient compliance with FOB testing. Does the Clearview ULTRA FOB Test make sample collection easier for patients?
A: Yes. Clearview ULTRA FOB only requires one sample. Plus, unlike guaiac-based tests that impose strict dietary restrictions on patients (no red meat for 3 days; vitamin and vegetable restrictions), Clearview ULTRA FOB does not require any dietary restrictions.
